Why Krazart?
Krazart is a virtual exposition area on the web developed by artisans for artisans. It is our mission to host the best website experience for people searching for handmade crafts and art – creative workshops and expositions. We strive to add value by detailing not only featured products of craftsmen and artists, but also profiling the area where they are located, including local attractions such as museum and galleries. Krazart offers artisans full control over the presentation of their work and allows them to sell their work directly to the visitor.

When can I publish my work?
Directly after your subscription you can add your work. There is no limitation for the amount of individual work you would like to showcase (and no extra costs). Inside the work you can add more pictures (6 max.) to showcase your art from different angles (extra photos are not charged as well) Example 1, Example 2. when a visitor clicks on your work, Krazart automatically summarizes all your work, regardless the category. Why the Google map?
The buyer might want to see the work of the artisan in person first. Your location can easily be traced with the help of the map.

How do I indicate where and when I have an exhibition or when I organize a workshop
In your content management area you have access to the Gallery/Exposition planning. Here you can indicate when and where your exhibition is or when you organize a workshop. The activity is provided with a due date, resulting in removal of the activity as soon as the due date is passed. You can add a link to an external site. The visitor can also see the inventory of all your work, as it is provided in Krazart. Example Exposition / Example Workshop

You don't live in the country you organize your workshops?
In the content management area you can indicate in which countries you would like to advertise your workshops. Example. You can do the same with your expositions.

Which options does krazart provide?
You can present your activity using the following options: Art Fairs - Art and Gallery Routes. An example of a Participant Galerie
The activity can be added to the Exposition Calendar . The activity can also be presented as a Point of Interest: fill in the checkbox "Activity" in the Netherlands and search on the map the city Haarlem (south West of Amsterdam) "Vijfhoek kunstroute".

What is a Point of Interest?
The Points of Interest provides useful information regarding eg workshop- and art routes or unique restaurants. It quickly pulls up, showcasing the short summary, www-address and logo of the organisation. In 7 languages, very useful for tourists. Next to this Krazart feeds artwork into a partner site for vacation accommodation, so visitors to this site can come and see your work in real! (Impression).

Can I showcase my art in other countries?
Yes. Krazart investigated which countries are advanced online buyers. The fact that Krazart allows you to showcase your art per country has the BIG advantage Krazart can concentrate its Google and Yahoo advert campaigns on specific countries or even specific areas!
When you become a member of Krazart, you can indicate the (exact) location you live (only indicating your city is enough). The integrated Google map links you to your location. You can than add your work one by one. All items will automatically show up in the country you reside. If you wish to showcase your work in another country as well you can add a country link to an individual item which subsequently shows up in the selected country. Krazart is organized in such a way your entire inventory is showcased once the visitor selects one of your items, regardless the category or country he/she visits. It is therefore not required to add more than one item in multiple countries. That saves you a lot of maintenance efforts Example. Once the visitor clicks on an item, the entire inventory of this artisan is showcased.

How do I add a video?
Just add your video to YOURTUBE and copy the link in the dedicated field of the art piece or workshop in your Krazart content management system Example.

How do I best present my photographed objects?
You can upload photos in JP(E)G (NO GIF files) up to a size of 2Mb. Example – enlarge the photo!. In case your pictures are horizontally taken and you would like to optimize the presentation of the first picture you can adjust the frame of only the first picture to 320 (pixels wide) * 239 (pixels high).

Language options, how to apply the different languages?
Krazart opens in the native language of the country in which Krazart is opened. English is the default language in case the dominant language deviates from NL/ENG/DU/FR/SPA/POR/IT. In the content management area you have the option to add your texts in 7 different languages. In case you only fill one language field (e.g. Italian), your text will only show up in Italy. When you fill the English language field, this text is visible in ALL countries.

Why would a visitor want to become a member of Krazart?
Registered members can set an e-mail notification so they automatically receive an e-mail as soon a new piece of art has been added in his category or with his selected artist. Anywhere in the world. They can also store their favourite artisan in their favourites, make use of the blog forum and post (good) experiences with your and your work or workshops in the Satisfaction Rates section (at the bottom of your art or workshop inventory).

Can I continue showcasing my work once I’ve sold it?
In case your work is sold we ask you to inactivate this item. This sold item is not directly visible for Krazart visitors anymore. Your sold items can be made visible by providing the visitor with the unique code of the item in case you get requests for showing your portfolio of sold work. This way the Krazart art inventory is always up to date. It also indicates to the buyer he bought something unique since it is not showcased anymore. Example. This piece will not show up when selecting Painting-Oil.

Satisfaction Rates: How does this work?
ONLY registered members can post a message and provide individual artisans with a rating(1-5 stars). They can only do this when they login into Krazart. All feedback will be screened by Krazart prior to publication (eg. use of inappropriate language, discriminating or otherwise offending expressions are not permitted). The artisan will be informed regarding this feedback prior to publication. It is the sole responsibility of VACAZA Services BV to decide on the publication of the given feedback). In principle all feedback will be published. The name of the author is always added. Example.

How does Krazart maintain its standards?
We are keen to ensure a good standard of the content of the Krazart site and therefore we kindly ask you to assess your work according to the following criteria:
1. Saleable high quality craft and art
2. Own and original designs
3. Individual or numbered pieces
4. Hand made/crafted by individual or as part of a small business
5. It would be wise to look at the standard of work of the existing members to see if your work fulfils the (arbitrary) requirements of Krazart.

In addition a number of Krazart members has agreed to form a virtual expert panel. This expert panel helps the Krazart organisation to maintain the required quality standard.

Why does Krazart recommend you to use Paypal
Krazart integrated Paypal to allow artisans to offer a proven secure payment system to their customers. Paypal also protects as well the seller as the buyer with certain rights. For more information go to:www.paypal.com. You are free to sell your work without using the shopping cart. Just fill a zero in the price field and e.g. indicate your price in the free textfield.

Where do I find Paypals section for general information?
Login your Paypal account and click Paypal

Can I set shipping costs within Paypal?
Yes, just leave, when you add an item, the cell "Shipping costs" empty and use Paypal to set the shipping and package costs. You will find this feature under “Profile” in your Paypal account.

How does the buyer know an art piece has been sent?
Krazart recommends the artisans and workshop members to use DHL/FEDEX/UPS for sending their sending art pieces. These organisations use an online global tracking.
