In Dutch Design Hotel Artemis, next to the presentation of the privately owned collection, changing exhibitions are organised every 3 months, called D&A; Design & Artemis. Every time surprisingly different in the matter of theme or composition. With a wide variety of art, design and even Food- en Drink Design. Dutch Design Hotel Artemis is more then a hotel, it is a total experience, where variety creates a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere.

Netty Klomp was born in Amsterdam, where she also lives and works. She has always been interested in all kinds of creative expressions related to fashion, color, shape, interior design and abstract art (inspired by artists like Karel Appel, Picasso, Kandinsky, Frank Stella and Niki de Saint Phalle). It inspires her life. She loves creating and using these beautiful creations to give energy and happiness to herself and her environment.
Netty is autodidact. She has come in contact with the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in the past, however the path to that education slipped through her fingers. Now she sees what the purpose was; she was able to first guide the way for her 3 sons to become creative and happy people.
Her son, Marijn Wensveen, also participates in this exhibition. Now, the time has come for Netty, to find the creative path again through her spiritual development. Thus, it seems that after fulfilling many other tasks, her life is starting a new chapter.
The art, that she displays at this exhibition, were created spontaneously. The colors have a therapeutic effect on her, and due to that, she has done more research in the healing aspect of colors. Viewers of her work are very enthusiastic. This positive energy is her motivation to continue making her colorful art.
With this first exhibition, she not only gets the chance to display her paintings, but was also allowed to turn one of the spontaneous figures of one of her paintings into a sculpture.
In the future she wants to focus herself on applying her created images onto sculptures, ceramics, cloth designs and fashion, next to her paintwork.
