Twan de Vos (Tilburg, Netherlands) works and lives in Wageningen (Netherlands).
In 1993 he graduated from the University of Arts in Arnhem.
Since then he works as a professional illustrative artist.
He paints, sculpts, makes linoleum cuttings,
silkscreen prints and works in commission.
Next to all of this he takes part in a number of art projects,
for example he is co-publisher of the Arts Agenda,
www.kunstagenda.com
and he was co-organizer of the Wageningen Cultural Circuit.

Twan,s work is always about people,
their feelings, but primarily their underlying relationships.
The subjects are commonplace and are illustrated
in an open humorous manner.
He makes colorful paintings, silkscreens and sculptures.
Each painting is a collage of diary pages
from different periodes.
Motto's inspired by the 1970's
appear on current issues.
He says on this "...feelings are timeless".

Bijzonder leuk! Zaterdag 16 mei met 8 meiden de workshop naaktmodelschilderen gedaan op een énorm leuke locatie in hartje Tilburg. Het is altijd moeilijker dan je denkt maar dmv de juiste aanwijzingen van ons model en docente Annelies hebben we er allemaal een mooi kunstwerk van weten te maken! Leuk, inspirerend én leerzaam! Een absolute aanrader!!!
