The move to Wales has Maggie to develop her own paintings, combining her love of nature and the landscape with the exploration of texture, light and colour. She currently exhibits in England and Wales. Maggie will be your tutor for your stay.

Andrew has years of experience as an interior designer. His other passions are food and wine. All the food at the house is organic and locally sourced when possible.

Andrew has developed a fine cuisine and will be your experienced chef and chauffeur during your stay.

Our three day and five day courses have a planned and varied programme; encompassing short journeys to inspiring sights we have chosen in the area, always incorporating a seascape nearby.

We encourage local, successful and extremely talented artists to give demonstrations and talk about their work, either during the day or in the evening.

We visit galleries that exhibit local quality work 'en route' to the painting locations.

Day attendance

Day attendance will start the morning after the start date of the residential courses at 9.00am. You may only wish to attend for one day which is absolutely fine. Materials will be supplied.

By keeping the group small, Maggie as your tutor, can ensure quality, individual tuition at all times.
The studio will always be open for individuals for unsupervised work outside normal tuition times.
We will always try to accommodate alternative dates and requests outside the published agenda.
Maggie teaches art with a belief that good drawing skills underpin all painting, with that in mind, all the art classes start with drawing exercises to discipline our way of seeing that enables us to draw. Also, how to use our sketch books on site to gather information and translate for studio work.
