Given the unique context of Methana and its neighbouring regions and islands the courses will be based upon the artist's response to a topography and environment formed by early geological activity, prehistoric agriculture, classical antiquity and volcanic disruption.
The field workshops will comprise the following modules:

1. The Romantic Vista (perception and device)
2. The Classical Landscape (proportion and composition)
3. The Tangible Locale (object and environment)

The whole course lasts six days with continuous individual tutorials and daily group assessment.
There will be 4 morning workshops at Limnisa. The workshops will be serious and concentrated. The afternoons will be used to keep working on your projects. The day finishes early evening with an open group discussion.
Two excursions will be organised.One in the direct environment of Limnisa. And one to the temple of Aphaeas on Aegina.
