Pottery-classes and Raku-fire for beginners & advanced
The ceramic workshop 'Tinos Ceramics' is situated in a central and peaceful area on the Island of Tinos, just 2,5 miles north from the town of Tinos. The studio is near to the Medieval Road which connects the town to the Castle of Exombourgo, today used as a donkey and footpath. An excellent starting point for trekkers.
The studio was founded in 1982 as a base for the sculptress Margarita Delatola-Aicher who was later joined by Bernhard Aicher in 1986, an experienced ceramic teacher.
Learn to make pots on the potters wheel (4 electrical potter wheels are available), Raku - technique and basics of firing ceramic kilns.
You'll get a lot of work experience for your favourite hobby, the long experiences in business of your course leaders as free lance potters and as ceramic teachers guarantee this. Course can be adapted to personal desires concerning main emphasis and course time.
Classes are taking place starting from 2 course subscribers.
