The course is designed to improve observational skills through drawing in a variety of ways using the sketchbook. We will be walking along Le Marche's scenic "magical routes" such as the Gola dell"Infernacio (the devil's waterfall), see an abundance of wild mountain scenery and visit works of the early Renaissance masters in their original settings. A landscape course with a rich sense of art history, this holiday will inspire and encourage you to use the essential tool of the sketchbook more effectively in your work in the tradition of great artists. Time will be divided between working in the studio, walking, sketching and excursions. We will also visit the famous Fabriano Paper Museum on a journey through the history of paper making from Marco Polo to the modern day. This course is suitable for anyone and non-painters are most welcome too.
