Rose Farm studios are situated near Newlyn, the premier fishing port in England, the picturesque harbour village of Mousehole and St.Ives. We are amongst the only painting school that restricts our class size to no more than six, this enables a greater progression of your work and a more intimate environment to make friends and have the attention of your tutor. We will discuss with you prior to your stay what you would like to achieve, you may want to improve your own skills, branch out into a new medium, or tackle painting outside, we can accommodate a multitude of criteria.
Your tutor Tim Hall has over 15 years experience teaching all levels. Basic materials are provided; there is also an excellent Art shop in Penzance. For the non-painting partner we can recommend Golf, fishing, yoga, surfing,boating, all available nearby. The area is also suited to the walker and photographer.
Henrietta Graham is the artist in resident at Rose Farm, whilst not a teacher she is available for friendly chats with tea about all manner of things relating to painting. Graham is an accomplished artist who has exhibited internationally;
She has completed seven paintings for Gordon Ramsey's restaurant at Claridges and most recently a portrait of the hairy Bikers of BBC2's popular travelling chefs. Henrietta and Tim are married.
